At the end of July Apple will be releasing OS X Lion 10.7. With new system updates come broken software, plugins and interrupted work flows which means less music making and sound designing.
Updating system software might be exciting but as many audio professionals warn, “Why fix something that isn’t broken!”. With that said Soundstud.io has started to track which digital audio workstation developers, plugin developers and other music related applications are Lion ready. We have linked to RoaringApps who has been tracking application compatibility with the new OS. Check them out for other non-music related applications.
